Stop everything and head out to Mustafa now, and we mean now (because Mustafa Shopping Centre is open 24-hours).
Head to the bedding section (if you can find it under the hordes of inventory) and grab yourself the latest IT bag.
The French fashion house Balenciaga recently unveiled the Blanket Bag, a full-leather tote with hand-twisted nappa handles and intricate full-coloured print.
Oh, and did we mention it's on the market for around $5,569?
If you find the look familiar, it could be because, as it's name suggests, the bag is inspired by the kind of bags you'd find your blankets packed in.

Is this a kind of fashion statement that Balenciaga's creative director Demna Gvasalia is making about the lack of distinction between art and fashion that we are seeing in modern society, or is it just a blatant jab into the hearts of those blind fashion followers? We're not sure.
What we can be certain of is that this isn't the first time the fashion house has taken inspiration from your average everyday item. Not too long ago, Balenciaga's Bazar Shopper bag had the fashion world talking when it looked suspiciously like a Thai shopping bag. The difference, aside from the materials, is also the cost.
Balenciaga's Bazar Shopper bag costs $3,500, while the standard Thai market bag costs $3.
Fashion or Folly, we'll leave it up to you to decide.
