Would you put up with a neighbour who throws piles of rubbish, toilet paper, braised sauce and sanitary pads outside your door? Well two homeowners in this Yishun HDB have had to put up with it for two years. It's also times like this, that having a CCTV outside your door is not just useful, it's absolutely necessary.

The incidents took place at blk 112 of Yishun Ring road. According to one of the affected homeowners, Miss Yeo, the issues started when she noticed that her metal gates were rusting at an unusual rate. Upon investigation, it looked like an act of mischief caused by pouring oil and salt all over the gate. At that time Miss Yeo decided to ignore the matter, hoping that the problem will cease. However, things only got worse as her nrighbour, Miss Lim, soon noticed that someone was also leaving huge piles of rubbish outside her door.

Six months later, it got a lot worse. When clumps of sanitary pads began appearing along the corridor and the smell of urine filled the air, the two women decided to try to put a stop to the ordeal by installing a CCTV outside their doors.

This was what they saw.

A woman in shades, who lived on another floor, was the culprit. She would appear at various times, with different substances and items and leave them on the floors. Both Miss Yeo and Miss Lim tried to prevent her from accessing their corridors by putting barricades to block the woman. They have also lodged police reports in an attempt to stop the woman in shades.

While the town council has been notified of this incident and investigations are ongoing, it looks like there is no clear solution for the two residents and they continue to live in fear that they may wake up to a doorway filled with unsavoury items tomorrow.
