Size Matters

Question: I can’t find an optimal TV viewing distance in my bedroom as the bed is too close to the opposite wall. What should I do?

Answer: Optimal viewing distances depend on your TV’s size and have to be calculated on-site, so consult your TV supplier.

If you already have furniture like a bookcase or desk against the opposite wall, you have no choice but to go even higher up – to the ceiling. As room sizes shrink, it is getting quite common now for homeowners to install ceiling-mounted TV screens in the bedroom.

You could use the same kind of heavy-duty ceiling bracket and mount as for a projector unit. The length of the mount and the TV angle can be adjusted to suit your ceiling height as well as your personal preference.
