Step into the Tree room at boutique hotel Wanderlust, and you'll be instantly transported to a magical forest where a verdant canopy of variegated felt leaves shelters you as you slumber. Designers from Furious created this whimsical room so guests can imagine they're sleeping in a tree house, for the bed is set on a split level accessible by a flight of steps.
Wallpaper printed with images of tree trunks and plywood planks doubling as branches complete the illusion. The felt leaves can be replaced by paper versions for a similar effect - just make sure you have enough to cover the entire ceiling.
