Welcome to the colourful and eclectic home of Tatjana Schantz Johnsson, a Danish writer and stylist!

Tatjana is a global citizen who has worked and travelled in many countries, including Singapore. Her diverse experiences have also influenced her decor tastes, and her home is now filled with furniture and knick-knacks that make up an "Asian-meets-classic-Scandinavian design", she says.

After painting this retro-style storage unit a invigorating shades of green, Tatjana then added black wood-grain patterns to it. A kitschy flamingo and a metal suitcase from Kathmandu also adds to this corner's wackiness!

In another corner of the house, a ceramic pistol vase holds porcupine quills (bought from the Blavand Zoo in Denmark) instead of flowers.

Fire engine red was picked to enliven this corner of the kitchen, which is packed with reotro-themed decorative yet functional accessories.

The porcelain hand sculpture and PH5 lamp are adorned with psychedelic paintings by artist Idris Johor, who's a good friend of Tatjana's.

The bedroom, decorated with a wind-catcher made of shells and a cream-hued oriental chair, embodies an effortless charm.

Tatjana relaxes with her dog and Idris out at the car porch.
