Alvin Ng and Ivy Long moved from a four-bedroom apartment to their current two-bedroom loft unit so their children could go to the top schools. Ivy was confident that shifting to a smaller home would be manageable, turning once more to her trusted designers Jacky Low and Carol Sim of Frame Interior.

The family didn’t bring much with them to their new abode in terms of furniture. “It’s more fun to get new pieces,” Ivy smiles. But they did have a lot of family photos, which the designers incorporated as a visual feature in the new interiors.
