"The owner likes the classical look, but her daughter prefers contemporary, so we married the two concepts for a glammed-up, boutique-style pad," says interior designer Eddy Kuswandi of EJ Square. He achieved this with daring colour combinations like purple and burgundy, and the pairing of modern pieces such as Kartell Ghost chairs with vintage-style furniture and accessories.

Lavish textures also keep the holiday home’s boutique-hotel theme consistent: tactile wallpapers and fabrics juxtaposed with slick, glossy glass surfaces.
