Nature lover Kenneth Loh was ecstatic when he found the three-bedroom flat at the foot of Bukit Timah Hill. But for this husband and father of two, who also takes care of his mother, the 1,290sqf apartment required a lot of work. "The house is small for six people," he notes.

So Kenneth sought the creativity of designer C.K. Chan from IPO Design. To provide much-needed storage and still give the family a visually pleasing home, C.K. designed built-in shelving and some custom-made furniture that incorporated drawers and hidden compartments.
