Opposites attract

An executive for a creative agency, this bachelor appreciates well-designed furniture, and is a fan of the mid-20th century modern style. So for his two-bedroom condo, designer classics were a must: a lounger, ottoman and rocker by Charles and Ray Eames, a Van Dyck round table from Minotti, the E-1027 side table by Eileen Gray, Flos Arco lamp and Kartell Eros chairs.

Adding an East-meets-West vibe to the walls is his eclectic collection of Asian art: there are traditional brush-stroke paintings from Indonesia and Vietnam, wood-carved Chinese calligraphy, contemporary Burmese and Chinese artwork and black-and-white prints by a local photographer.
