This tiny apartment in Taiwan received a complete makeover by A Lentil Design, and is now a cosy home to a young couple and their cat.
The initial layout featured lots of partitions, which not only caused a lack of sunlight in the home but made it difficult to experiement with different furniture as well. To combat this, the designers "reorganised the lines and patterns throughout the home to maximise natural light and ventilation."
A mezzanine level beside the kitchen allows under-stair storage. Its location in the middle of the home also allows easy access.
A view of the compact kitchen from the mezzanine level!
A glass door separates bedroom from communal space.
White, instead of black, sliding doors were chosen. This complements the now-bright apartment.
The designers utilised the odd corner as a wardrobe. Every inch of space is valuable in a tiny apartment!
A platform bed offers more storage, while printed duvets and cushion covers add a youthful vibe to the space.
