Three things to note before you fill your home with all things pastel:
1) Use pastel hues together with muted and neutral colours like white, grey, cream and light brown so the colours don't compete with each other for attention.
2) Becareful not too use too much of one pastel colour in one room or you may end up with a nursery!
3) Snap out of the mindset that pastel furniture will make your home look rustic or vintage! Pastel furniture can work in many decor themes and styles such as mid-century modern, contemporary, Oriental, etc.
