We may be familiar with walk-in wardrobes, but a walk-in shoe closet is an unusual sight. This was one of the requests in the homeownersʼ brief to Kelvin Teo of Space Sense Studio, because they required plenty of storage space for shoes. As the foyer to the flat is narrow, it was impossible to incorporate a walk-in shoe closet near the entrance. The solution was to locate it further to the left of the foyer, with a concealed door complete with wainscoting so it appears to be a continuation of the foyer wall. Kelvin managed to integrate the shoe closet into the interior, yet still position it close enough to the entrance for practical reasons.
