An art exhibition of highly detailed interesting aboriginal and indigenous objects

Redot Fine Art Gallery, in collaboration with Australian indigenous community art centre Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Arts (a.k.a Yirrkala), presents Trial Bay: Gurky'wuy' by Wukun Wanambi — one of the country's most renowned living artists.

View a collection of over 30 works in different mediums, such as larrakitj (aboriginal memorial poles or hollow coffins created to hold the bones of the dead) barks, foils and a video installation.

The artist is a senior lawman of the Marrakulu and Dhunili clans and has intimate knowledge of the saltwater country in the far north eastern parts of Australia. He has been represented in two major museum shows at the British Museum, London in 2015, and National Museum of Australia (NMA), Canberra in 2014.
