House tour: A stunning contemporary home made up of neutral colours

Trusted with this family's semi-detached house, the designers at Space Vision took on the task of turning it into a contemporary home bathed in calming neutral shades.

To anchor the spacious living room, a large L-shaped sofa was placed in the centre atop a light grey floor rug that's also proportionate to the space. Thanks to the ground floor's high ceilings, large windows, and earthy colour scheme, the entire space looks and feels incredibly light. The black TV feature wall and sheer dark brown curtains were also crucial as accents to balance out the light colours.

The glass staircase railings and mirrored surfaces in the living room also enable as much natural light to brighten up the corners that are further away from the windows.

Thanks to its modern contemporary decor style, this dining area looks sleek, smart, and absolutely ready to host. The marble floors, chandelier, and high ceilings also add to the sense of grandeur that permeates this area.

Got to love the monochromatic kitchen as well! Fitted with the Blum mechanism, this sleek, architectural kitchen is not only designed to look flawless, but is also a breeze to use.

The original air well was converted into a family relaxation and entertainment space instead. The area now sits on a glass platform on the mezzanine level, and not only does this peekaboo flooring lend a modern touch to this cosy floor, but also allows more light to flow between the two levels.
