his HDB flat with a romantic, classical-style looks dramatic thanks to the use of oversized furnishings such as the armchair, chandelier and ottoman. 


The homeowners were not afraid to use wallpaper to inject colour and character into their home.


The wall shelves are filled with momentoes from the homeowners' trips to Europe.


The
canopy over the bed and black chandelier give this bedroom a distinct European aesthetic.

Other than picking furniture pieces that are reminiscent of the era, the homeowners went with moulding-trimmed mirrors in the living room to pull the classical look together.


The classical details are seen throughout the home, even on the kitchen cabinet.


The moulding of the wardrobe doors reflect the home’s classical look, too.

FIVE-ROOM HDB FLAT IN BUKIT MERAH

Cabinets sprayed a customised dove-grey shade, subway tiles and a chequerboard floor bear the hallmarks of a French bistro.


For a contemporary take on Parisian-style living, the homeowner went with a muted colour scheme and classic herringbone flooring.





The walls of the master bedroom are a lovely shade of French blue. Note the mouldings and the choice of bed, as well.
