The trend

We have been loving the industrial-chic look, but it is time to bring the outdoors in and soften those hard, urban spaces. Introduce nature with organic materials and greenery (planted or cut) displayed in hanging planters, lanterns, hurrican lamps, an deven old glass jars. Limit the number of materials and colours for a cohesive display.

Key elements

  • Structured foliage, such as succulents or cacti are on-trend, while leafy ones look great in hanging planters. For cut plants, try eucalyptus stalks in a glass vessel.
  • Plants with varying shades of green, and different heights and leaf sizes, for texture.
