House Tour: Elegant and luxurious with neutral colours

A couple in their 40s, reside in this three-storey semi-detached house with their two daughters and parent.

The couple tapped into the creative mind of Selina Tay, founder and principal designer of Collective Designs, in designing this home to cater to three generations.

“We wanted the house to have a classic look,” explains Selina on the restrained colour scheme that pervades the interiors, through the walls, floors and built-in pieces.

Paintings, cushions and a Missoni rug provide delightful colour accents against the earthy tones of the walls and classic furniture pieces.

The dining space features the Xilos table from B&B Italia Maxalto, complemented by Poliform’s Ventura dining chairs. The Nemo chandelier emphasises the home’s airy high-ceiling design. Tray, horse ornament and glass bottle, all from Taylor B.

The wet kitchen features carpentry by Mudian.

In the master bathroom, his and hers sinks are separated by storage shelves.
