1. Light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs:
Said to have a longer life-span compared to regular light bulbs, LED bulbs are more energy-efficient due to their low voltage requirement. However, this does not compromise their brightness! These small bulbs allow flexibility when it comes to designing lighting fixtures. They also switch on immediately, so no more ‘blinking’ lights!

2. Incandescent Bulbs:
The cheapest and most frequently incandescent bulbs give off a warm and inviting light, great for skin tones! Because they easily heat up, it is advised to install a dimmer with them.

3. Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL):
These lights are brighter, and last longer than incandescent bulbs. They provide lighter but harsher lighting!

4. Halogen Bulbs:
These bulbs are often used with a reflector, and can last two to three times longer than incandescent bulbs. They are bright, and produce an intense glare that’s perfect for general lighting or spot lighting. However, these bulbs also emit quite a bit of heat.
