Secondhand furniture and vintage styles in this cosy Parisian hotel

WHAT: Le Pigalle, a hotel by Mr Valéry Grégo. It was designed by interior design firm Festen.

WHERE:  South Pigalle (or nicknamed SoPi), Paris

WHY WE LOVE IT: It has plenty of personality, from the artwork to the secondhand furniture throughout the hotel. It makes for a cosy space which showcases the location's history!

La Pigalle is situated in South of Pigalle, and features a bar and restaurant. According to Le Fooding, the hotel has collaborated with its neighbours to put together a lively and cosy atmosphere. For example, its soundtrack is curated by the recordshop Victor Kiswell, and it features a library put together by bookshop Les Arpenteurs.

The rooms sport white walls and wood floors, providing a one-size-fits-all base for the diverse collection of souveniers, displays, art, books, and secondhand furniture found in each room. These truly imbues the space with character - just like someone's home!

The interior designers opted for vintage styles, such as the 214P chairs in the restaurant, as well as decorative displays and hotel conveniences such as George Nelson lamps and the vinyl turntables in the bedroom. Above all, there is a strong dedication to detail here - from the marble shelves of the bathroom and bedroom to the mid-century modern colours in the lobby and restaurant.
