Sexy, stylish homes of bachelorettes

SLEEK & CHIC
700SQF TWO-STOREY APARTMENT IN TANJONG PAGAR

Elegantly decked in red and white, this living room has a sleek, modern look.

The cascading glass chandelier that hangs from the second floor, allows the homeowner to take advantage of the high-ceiling and double-height windows.

Maximise awkward corners by fiiling the space with a statement chair like the Sancal Jeu rocking chair to create a cosy reading nook.

The glossy black flooring ups the luxe factor in this bachelorette pad.

Sliding glass kitchen windows maintain the sense of openness yet keep in cooking smells.

The red beaded chandelier adds a feminine touch, giving this bedroom a strong focal point.

The walk-in wardrobe leads into the bathroom. For privacy, the homeowner installed blinds for the bathroom area.

QUIRKY & ORGANIC
1,000SQF THREE-ROOM HDB FLAT IN TIONG BAHRU

The tree trunk, cement screed walls and exposed bulbs all tie in to fit the raw, organic feel the singleton was gunning for.

As her favourite colour is black, the homeowner incorporated the hue into many parts of the home, even the front door.

For better ventilation and to brighten up the kitchen, a wall was hacked and a bar top was constructed instead.

To add to the raw, organic feel, the homeowner went with tree branches for door handles!

Inspired by the old-world glamour of Wong Kar Wai’s movie In The Mood for Love, the homeowner went for a black and red palette with strong Oriental elements, including a headboard wrapped in a Chinoiserie vermilion fabric from Belgium.

MODERN VINTAGE
1,360SQF APARTMENT IN KATONG GARDENS

The homeowner was careful to select a mix of modern and vintage styles, so the home doesn't look dated.

The orange tones of the vintage 1970s wallpaper brighten the master bedroom and anchor the airy space.

A Beatles fan, the bachelorrete stuck on a pop-art style mural of the band on one wall of the living room.

Decor accessories like the "dim sum" stool, a wall sticker of a microphone and a pair of green Wellington boots are just some of the many quirky elements in this apartment.

A wooden ceiling adds to the rustic, cosy vibe of this apartment.

The patterned mosaic flooring perks up this kitchen with an all-white colour palette.
