A visual arts exhibition about the fragility of nature in a changing environment

The NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore (NTU CCA Singapore), in collaboration with the MIT List Visual Arts Center, presents 'They Come to Us without a Word' by world-renowned American visual artist Joan Jonas. The irreversible impact of human interference on the natural environment is addressed in this visual arts exhibition.

The artist expresses her ideas implicitly through sound, lighting and the juxtaposition of images of children, animals and landscape. It is her first major exhibition in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

There will also be a curated public programme consisting of film screenings, workshops and tours, that explores the key themes of Joan Jonas’ work, such as honey bees, ghost stories, and animals.
