What’s your favourite time of day?

I enjoy mornings the most as they are filled with so much potential. It sets the tone for a productive day!

Describe your personal design style.

I like art with bright colours, fashion, and interior style with contemporary design.

What do you think defines good art?

Good art is an effective combination of concept, vision, and mastery of the medium. It is original and representational of the time when it was created, with passion, a frame of reference, freshness, intellectual content, and is uniquely identifiable as the work of that artist.  It energises you and makes you want more.

What’s the biggest learning experience you’ve had?

My past work experience made me realise that perseverance, humility, integrity, and honesty are ingredients to be successful.

When are you the most inspired?

Travel to Europe provides great inspiration for me. When one witnesses amazing art, design, and architecture, one can’t help but imagine how they were accomplished in the past with less developed tools and technologies.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

I enjoyed windsurfing and was quite good at it when I was young. I was simply a beach bum in my junior college days.

What keeps you going every day?

I am motivated to see how each day would turn out and how our group can help to make each space meaningful and aesthetically pleasing.

What’s one city you’ve always dreamed of travelling to?

I would love to go to Thimphu, the city of Bhutan, to witness happiness in the simplest form, their way of life, the spectacular scenery and rich culture.

Who is your favourite artist of all time?

My favourite artist must be Salvador Dali. He is a Spanish surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship, although much known for his eccentricities! He opened my eyes to the world of art and taught me to appreciate art at the age of 14.
