Condominio Monti is a boutique hotel designed for design lovers. Located in Rome, Italy, the 33-room hotel was designed by Studio Tamat and oozes an eclectic look with "bijou (small) yet functional" rooms. This combination makes Condominio Monti the ideal place for those with small homes to take inspiration from.
This small room has everything you'd need: a basic wardrobe space, a vanity, a television and a full-length mirror. The calming blue hue is perfect for a relaxing bedroom.
We like the configuration of the small wardrobe, which features both open and closed storage spaces. The shades, finishes, fabrics, patterns and objects of Condominio Monti have been selected by Sabina Guidotti, founder of Bludiprussia.
The blue colour scheme extends into the bathroom as well, where blue square tiles are paired with pink grouting for a touch of whimsy.
Not so adventurous with the wall colour? Experiment with colours through smaller elements such as the door and wall lamps, instead. This room is also a good example of what you can do with recessed spaces. Why not capitalise on it and turn it into a "wardrobe"?
Bathrooms are another small space you can consider, when wanting to experiment with colour. Here, the neon lamp adds a playful mood to the relatively simple space.
Have a small space but unsure how to maximise the space? Take this headboard-cum-wardrobe as an example. See the next photo!
Ta-da! You can not only hang your clothes on both sides (via the slim hanging rod) but incorporate a vanity as well.
Condominio Monti went with a black-on-black design for one of the suite's kitchen. The different materials broke the monotony of a single-colour space.
