H&D Hotlist #144: New design products, furniture and accessories
There’s nothing quite as luxurious as a silk duvet or a set of silk pajamas on the skin. That’s the experience that bespoke home and lifestyle brand Silky Miracle hopes to bring to Singapore with the opening of its first Southeast Asia boutique in Dempsey, featuring 100 per cent mulberry silk of the finest quality known to man.
Each piece is put together by skilled craftsmen to ensure quality, and no expense is spared – even the filling in the pillows and duvets is pure silk.
For those looking for something more, personalisation with Swarovski crystals or hand embroidery is available.
The Silky Miracle boutique is at 13 Dempsey Rd, #01-03. For more information, visit www.silkymiracle.com.
SLEEP & RECHARGE
Continuing its mission to use scents to promote mental wellness, homegrown brand Scent by Six has launched Sleep, Returns, a scent collection infused by Sleep Accord technology from Japanese fragrance intelligence house Takasago.
Described as having a calming and rejuvenating scent that includes woody notes and lemongrass, Sleep, Returns promotes a good night’s sleep.
The collection’s design was inspired by the Six of Swords tarot card, which depicts a state of transition towards calmer waters by moving forward.
“We understand the struggles of those who are not having a good night’s sleep. With our new scent collection, we bring them hope for better sleep,” says brand founder Jason Lee.
Scent by Six will be donating $10,000 from the sales of Sleep, Returns to the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH).
The Sleep, Returns collection comprises a reed diffuser ($48), pillow mist ($28), mini nebuliser with aroma essence set ($80), and aroma essence ($22-$66) at Scent by Six boutiques and www.scentbysix.com.
