This homeowner loves her toy collection more than television, which is why she requested designer Kelvin Teo from Space Sense Studio to do away with a regular television console in the living room and replace it with a display shelf instead.
The homeowner of this two-bedroom resale condominium apartment also had one more request: the home should exude a cheerful ambience. Vibrant hues, an acoustic wall panel in the shape of fish scales, and seating that has been clad in coloured fabric decorate the living room.
"I designed an asymmetrical, colourful display cabinet to house her toys in the living room, while the kitchen island doubles as a dining table," says Kelvin.
The homeowner also has a large collection of eye-ware. Orange accents, on the wardrobe and door frame, were used to achieve a fun and vibrant environment. "We changed wall colours, added lots of decor pieces, as well as potted plants throughout the home," adds Kelvin.
Blue was the main hue requested for this colourful home, and the accent colours — such as orange, grey and green — were chosen to complement it.
