Local socialite Jamie Chua moved out of her luxurious two-and-a-half storey Merryn Road bungalow in April 2022. While the 49-year-old’s new home is undergoing renovation, Jamie moved to a temporary residence that is equally glamourous. Shortly after, she uploaded a short house tour featuring the first floor of her new abode on her YouTube channel.
On Jan 10, 2023, Jamie Chua shared that a group of otters living in Sentosa invaded her house in the early mornings of Jan 8, snacked on, and completely wiped out all her Koi and Oscar fishes.
Let’s take a look at some stunning features of her contemporary lakeside bungalow.
Highlighting her love for spending time outdoors in the video, Jamie’s new house includes a 25-metre private pool. She swims every weekend, adding that she would love to swim more.
The exterior of her house looks like a charming, laid-back villa. The house sits beside a marina, offering a view of the water and yachts.
The stunning view by the pool gives island and resort vibes. Jamie said that she prefers this to the city. Her previous house along Merryn Road had a mini garden that included her beloved Meyer lemon tree. As she could not find another Meyer tree in Singapore, she uprooted the Meyer tree from her previous house. It now frames the poolside view of her current home.
A gazebo with rattan furniture overlooks the pool. Jamie relaxes here in the mornings and evenings, enjoying the fresh air.
Jamie also moved her iconic silkie chicken farm to her new home.
Jamie raved about her Instagram-worthy staircase. The socialite has already posted a few OOTDs with her industrial-looking staircase as the backdrop on her Instagram.
Lastly, Jamie’s foyer features a birdcage chandelier, a Dior bike and a Louis Vuitton art piece.
In her video, Jamie said she might do a house tour for the second level of her house at a later date.
