Keeping your home neat doesn’t have to mean your space has to be empty. Take a leaf from the design of this beautiful Singapore condominium apartment designed with a sleek white palette, but filled with plenty of nifty storage ideas.
All white interior design
Designed by local interior design firm Architology, the owners of this condominium apartment desired a clean, white aesthetic but also wanted the home to be functional for the family.
Hacked walls
What the interior design team proposed was to do away with diving walls, and segment the spaces with contrasting colours and materials instead.
Dark wood ceiling
The dining area is clad in dark-coloured timber and exudes a cosy atmosphere.
Artwork Decor
And while the rest of the home is designed in line with the white theme, colourful artworks on the walls help to add vibrance to the spaces.
Minimalist Cabinet Design
In order to create ample space in the open kitchen, the interior designers also created an entire wall of built-in cabinets.
Kitchen cabinet drawers
All the kitchen utensils and equipment can be neatly stowed away when not in use, giving the space an open and airy feel.
All white living room
The central white colour theme runs throughout the rest of the home, accented by the use of dark-coloured wood and grey upholstery.
Black marble kitchen countertop
To prevent the white palette from looking too flat and stark, the team also made sure to include a mix of other dark-coloured materials, such as a black marble top for counter surfaces, and thing black moulding running throughout the home.
Living room
In the day, natural light fills all the open spaces in the home.
Bedside lamps
Small pendant lamps also help to give the sleeping spaces an expansive feel.
Swivel TV mount
The wall along the master bedroom was designed to include a swivel TV wall that can be swivelled to face the bed at night.
Bedroom cabinet storage
When kept in place, the TV wall also doubles as a panel to conceal the storage area behind.
