Designed by Taiwanese interior design firm Summer Samson, this apartment in Taichung has a neutral colour palette with a mix of natural materials.
Warm wood tones fill the space thanks to full-height cabinets designed along the walls of the living and dining area, which provide lots of storage for the homeowners too. Marble flooring is used throughout to lend a luxe, refined look.
Alongside the dining table, the designers created a niche dedicated for the homeowners' collection and display of knick knacks.
To keep the home looking sleek and bright, the designers chose spotlights instead of large pendant lamps or hanging fixtures.
To add some colours into the living room space, the family chose colourful Italian furniture in orange and blue hues, as well as a cowhide rug for added textures.
Art pieces sit at the end of the corridor that leads into the bedrooms, to create some visual interest.
The master bedroom has ample storage space too! Wardrobes line both walls at the entrance of the room, and a seamless sliding door offers added privacy if needed.
There's even enough space for a study cum dressing table, which the designer cleverly positioned right infront of the window to offer sufficient natural light.
