For this three-room HDB maisonette, the interior designers at Artistroom managed to relocate the kitchen to the living room area as the sink is still within the original kitchen footprint, which has been waterproofed.
The kitchen’s open concept is also suitable as only light cooking is done.
Teal Feature Wall
The home was given a light colour palette of mostly whites and light browns, with the occasional pop of teal to uplift the spaces.
Built In Bookshelf
The interior designers saved the homeowners’ valuable space by building a bookshelf within the recess of the walls.
Under Stairs Storage
The irregularly-shaped space under the stairs did not deter the owners from turning it into a functional storage area.
Study Area
A long desk that can accommodate two people is used as a study table. Mismatched chairs, a typewriter and potted plants make it a welcome sight.
