The homeowners requested for the style, but did not want the home to look too dark, so the designers at Style Living Interior decided on injecting a selection of colours including red, blue, grey, black, rose gold, white and light wood.
To create the illusion of an enlarged space, mirrors are added next to the main door.

If you expected a three-room BTO flat to be small and cramped, this home, designed by Lemonfridge Studio, will show you otherwise. The homeowners love the warm and inviting ambience of country- and rustic-style homes, and requested for a similar look.
To achieve the style, the designers opted for wood-look finishes that come with various grains and shades. These create depth and texture throughout the home.

Small as the place might be, the homeowners of this apartment worked with D5 Studio Image to create an open format living and dining area. The designers also used a variety of wooden textures to add depth and a touch of cosiness to the home.
What we love about this design, is that it is a great way to combine both form and function. Even though the home is open and spacious, the smart use of patterned tiles for the backwash and wood laminates make the space feel warm and inviting.

Married couple Joy Fang, 32, and Daryll Nanayakara, 28, had the satisfaction of building their love nest themselves – and saving a lot of money along the way – by cleverly sourcing most of their furnishings from e-commerce site Taobao.
They spent $55,000 renovating and furnishing their four-room Build-To-Order flat in Yishun, including removing four of its walls to create an open-plan kitchen, dining room and living room space so that their dog, a four-year-old "Singapore Special", could have a wider activity area.
