If you love the reto-styled Smeg fridge, you'd want the new retro-inspired range of kitchen appliances from Smeg as well! Featuring similar rounded shapes and mid-century aesthetics, the collection is designed by Italian design firm Deep Design. The collection includes a toaster, kettle, blender, and stand mixer and will be available in Singapore from Nov 1.
The appliances are available in six colours – black, red, cream, pastel blue, pastel green, and pink.
The design language of an enamel-coated stainless steel body, elegant control knobs, and the iconic retro logo makes the pieces look fabulous together.
The Smeg stand mixer has a planetary action direct drive motor of 800W, and you can attach optional accesssories such as a pasta roller to the front knob, so you save space on your countertop! The stand mixer retails for $798
The 2×2 slice Smeg toaster even has a bagel function to only brown one side of the bread without toasting the other.
The toaster retails for $228.
The beautiful pastel green toaster.
The Smeg kettle is a 1.7litre stainless steel vessel with a 360 degree swivel base, and a soft opening feature. It also comes with a limescale filter to give you calcium-carbonate-free water. The kettle retails for $228.
The Smeg blender works at 18,000 rotations per minute, and features a light easy-to-clean 1.5litre jug made of premium Tritan BPA-free plastic that is said to be better than glass.
The four appliances are each available in six colours, so you'll definitely find a colour to match your kitchen!
The blender includes a 45ml measuring cup and features four speed settings as well as special ice-crush, smoothie and pulse functions. For easy cleaning, the blades are removeable, and the heat-resistant jig is dishwasher friendly. The jug retails for $338.
