Working in tandem, homeowner and interior designer brought warm, natural elements to the contemporary interior of this condominium in Tanjong Rhu.

The homeowner of this streamlined, airy apartment in a steel-and-glass building chose a contemporary decor scheme in keeping with the architecture. He also wanted some Asian elements. He conveyed these to Alex Kawn of Museum ID.

The box frame leg of the sofa and nest of the tables maintains the apartment's airiness.

The original kitchen was removed and moved into the yard (beyond the doorway). Alex built more useful storage units in its place.

The sleeping platform, which takes up half the master bedroom, incorporates storage space and even a bedside table.
