Not all curves mean classical or baroque design. This stylish and contemporary condominium apartment by design firm EHKA Studio makes use of curves to zone different parts of the home, and that makes for a refreshing departure from the usual straight lines.

The curved custom carpet follows the apartment's rounded forms, while defining a stage-like "platform" for the baby grand piano. The sofa is from Grafunkt.

The compact kitchen is kept light and airy with white gloss laminated cabinets paired with a white quartz countertop. The pocket sliding door can be hidden when the kitchen is not in use.

Rounded cabinets clad in woodgrain Formica laminate provide roomy, seamless storage space from the kitchen to the living room, and disguise the refrigerator, too.

The pod-like glass wall of the study lets in natural light and visually extends the spaces. The bench was created so that it could be converted into a platform bed when the children eventually need their own rooms.
