All-white, corner terrace at Sentosa Cove

Hee Soo Kang, Hege’s colleagye at Design Intervention, designed a rug to match Hege’s fabric cushions by Kelly Wearstler, while the sofa was custom-made.

The corner presents a homely mix – Hege’s old Oriental console, a fire engine toy, and a cowhide floor cushion from Design Intervention.

“I was pleasantly surprised by how well the green wallpaper works in the breakfast room,” Hege says. The booth seating (and TV) has made this one of the family’s favourite rooms – it’s great for having a meal and hanging out.

Six-year-old Cecilia chose the ‘cool chick’ colour scheme herself, already showing signs of a sophisticated décor sense.

Hege used soft pastels with white furniture for one-year-old Nicolas’ bedroom.

The stainless steel Shanghai table by Design Intervention head Nikki Hunt blends nicely with Hege’s Oriental artefacts. Mix-and-match cushions with vivid patterns brings out the colour of the painting and the rug.
