In the guest room, sometimes used by the owner’s parents, the Liquid lamp from Air adds an element of interest.

In the son’s bedroom, the raised platform provides him with a better view of the greenery outside, and provides extra storage space as well.

What looks like a feature wall in the son’s bedroom is actually hidden storage for clothing and other knick-knacks.

Instead of one lamp, the designer used three similar ones in varying lengths and sizes.

Inside of sporting the usual straight lines, the bookshelf is intentionally designed with irregular elements to create an interesting focal point. Visual anchors like an unusual bookshelf add decorative punch to the home.

Lots of daylight and natural ventilation create a great environment for work on the first floor.
