New stores and brands are popping up in Bugis. We tracked them down to show you what they offer.

Find contemporary Asian-inspired homeware and furniture at Scene Shang’s first brick and mortar store. Its pieces incorporate elements of the Ming dynasty, as well as Western-style influences such as Art Deco.

The brand’s latest collection includes a dining set made of marble and ash wood, which made its debut at International Furniture Fair Singapore this year.

Scene Shang also brings in products that echo its design principles, such as glassware from Japanese brand Kinto and Middle Kingdom pottery from America (with a kiln in China).

We already love the luxurious designer furniture available at Space, but the brand has now launched its own made-in-Italy furniture collection.

The SP01 range was conceived in Australia, where the brand is from, and designed by renowned Milanbased award-winning studio Fattorini+Rizzini+Partners.

It consists of globally inspired contemporary furniture, and includes sofas, armchairs, dining tables and coffee tables made using solid ash timbers.
