The proverbial "man cave", a place for men to retreat to in a home, gets a dedicated pop-up event at Tangs department store in Orchard Road.
Called Mancave At Tangs and situated on the fourth level, the temporary retail space is selling products such as gadgets, wine, art and furniture that have a masculine touch. It runs till July 20.
If you are willing to splash out, there are many swanky objects on offer. Check out AV Intelligence's futuristic-looking Estelon YB loudspeakers ($25,900) or a $35,000 Lungolinea Table Tennis Table made of crystal glass by Italian luxury label Impatia.
For some manly furnishings, browse Teak & Mahogany's selection of furniture made of distressed leather and rugs and throws made of cowhide. Prices start at $298 for a printed cushion.
If you want a spot of colour for your walls, Bangkok-based artist Keetatat Sitthiket is also selling his framed pop art pieces that often feature celebrities and quotes. Price ranges from $35 to $390.
There are other bits and bobs that can help with creating a chilled-out mood. You can pick up a vinyl record (from $33) from home- grown music store The Barbershop Music, which sells music of all genres; or buy some alcohol from online wine store Pop Up Wine, which has a selection from Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
To help you choose, there are wine tastings from Fridays to Sundays.
