This retired couple is living the dream, living out their days in a glass-encased loft apartment, overlooking a hill of beautiful houses. We might be afford this – yet! – but we’ll be working hard towards this goal by slogging our way through our daily lives! But first, let’s take a moment to appreciate their beautiful orient-inspired home, designed by the folks at One-Stop Concept.

Thanks to its prime location, right on top of the hill, this beautiful double-volumed space has an awe-inspiring view. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure that the couple never have an obstructed view and that their living space is always flooded with bright, cheerful sunshine.

Hans Wegner’s Wishbone chairs sit by the dining table and is paired with the large Planet pendant lamp from Giorgetti in the loft’s dining area. We love how the bright red of the orient-inspired table brings a pop of colour to the plain white wall of the apartment.

After retirement, this couple decided to travel around the world, photographs from their travels line the wall of the study, a casual reminder of the places they’ve been.

Talk about luxurious, at the end of the day, the couple retirees to their large, comfy Thalamus bed from Giorgetti.
