In the dining room, the Skygarden lamp by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders features a beautiful textured design on its underside. Its lustrous gold shade lends the area a glamourous look without being OTT.
A plain, white wall is jazzed up with a customised storage-display unit with “boxes” finished in different colours and textures. The backing is made with bronze-tinted mirrors, rather than conventional clear ones.
The living room is furnished with a plush rug that feels soft and welcoming underfoot, as well as eye-catching wire sculptures. The wall-mounted TV console is a customised built-in and also includes bronze-tinted mirror for a unified look.
For the sons’ room and study area, the designer turned a piece of fabric with vehicle motifs into window blinds to match the carpet, sheets and bed, which is shaped like a Formula One car.
In the master bedroom, a bold red faux-leather headboard was designed along with matching bay window seat cushions for a touch of drama.
