Love the tables? The trestles come from Czech design brand Master & Master.

One of the new additions to the quaint Tiong Bahru neighbourhood, Bloesem is an extension of Dutch banker-turned-designer, Irene Hoofs’ blog. Irene started the Bloesem blog in 2006 to share her design discoveries. Irene has always been knitting and crafting as a hobby and even had her own self-designed line of stationery picked up by Barneys New York!

Bloesem carries a range of stationery, with journals from Malaysian design brand Nala.

The items sold at Bloesem is a unique mix of handcrafted items and stylish home accessories curated by the owner herself. The avid blogger appreciates designs that not only look appealing, but are also “a little more daring”. These include unconventional tableware and serving trays, pillowcases, jewellery, and interesting gift items like time capsules.

The space is also regularly used as a venue for workshops and classes.

Bloesem is at #01-79, 59 Eng Hoon Street, tel: 6689-0146.
