1.     Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135 Annual Exhibition

Calling all floral enthusiasts! Head down to Paragon to view the Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135’s annual exhibition of amazing floral displays. Expect beautiful displays from this organization dedicated to the Japanese art of flower arrangement.

The free exhibition, held in honour of “Singapore’s Chief Gardener”, the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew, will also have a display dedicated to Mr Lee and his wife. The special Ikebana display is centered around two orchid species, the Aranda Lee Kuan Yew and the Vanda Kwa Geo Choo.

2.     Imaginarium: A Voyage of Big Ideas 
Date: 14 March to 19 March
Time: 10am to 9pm
Location: 8Q at the Singapore Art Museum

Free for all Singaporeans, this exhibition is one worth taking the afternoon off to visit. Each installation promises hands-on fun for visitors. For example, you can visit a life-sized candy house and even make your mark in the museum by pinning up bits of embroidery or sewing in the “Let’s Make” gallery. There are three floors worth of exhibitions, so take your time to explore the place! We’ll be posting a video of it next week, so keep an eye out for it!

3.     The Vintage Fair @ Journey East

Date: 11 and 12 April, Saturday and Sunday
Time: 11am to 6pm
Location: Journey East, 315 Outram Road, #03-02, Tan Boon Liat Building

Love all things vintage? You’ll love this fair. Have your pick of goodies from some of Singapore’s specialised vintage stores.
