With WFH and HBL, our domestic spaces are required to be more flexible. So is a chair, which may be stationed at the dining table for meals, used for a class, or even as a work chair. 

So how do you choose one?

1. Match the scale

The seat, arm and back height must match your needs and comfort, and the table(s) or a desk you are going to pair the chair with. 

2. Watch the style

Whether you plan to have two, four or six multi-purpose chairs, consider how they would look together. A uniform design conveys neatness and order, while mismatched or contrasting selections can make a space more exciting. 

3. Consider the materials

If you’re using the chair for a prolonged time and not just for a meal, consider cushioned or upholstered chairs.
