A graduate of the University of Miami’s Science in Motion Pictures (1989) and Fine Arts in Photography (1991), Singaporean artist Siew Kee Liong’s mediums of choice are large-scale photography and digital videography.

He uses both digital and analogue technologies. His digital works are usually black and white photographs of people.

Meanwhile his analogue works are of found objects and photographs altered via scratching, burning, dyeing, or even by simply allowing for the proliferation of mould and fungi to interact with the photographic emulsion.

His most recent work was displayed at the Art Basel Hong Kong 2022.
