Yogyakarta Artist Gatot Indrajati: Painting, sculpture, installation

An Indonesian artist based in Yogyakarta, Gatot Indrajati uses a variety of techniques, including painting, sculpture and installation.

Often, his works portray whimsical landscapes that highlight societal issues like environmental sustainability and responsible consumption.

Gatot was awarded the UOB Southeast Asian Painting of the Year Award in 2016 and has been widely exhibited in the region.

His most recent installation, Sender of Wishes, depicts a cityscape populated by toy robots. It can be viewed at the Esplanade Concourse until July 10 this year.
