HDB December BTO 2023: Bedok, Bishan, Bukit Merah, Queenstown, Bukit Panjang, & Jurong West

HDB announced that the scheduled August 2023 HDB BTO launch was pushed back to the first week of October 2023. This was because the ballot results of the May 2023 BTO launch were delayed. The upcoming and final BTO exercise of 2023 will take place in December.

HDB BTO Dec 2023

The HDB BTO launch in December 2023 will encompass eight new projects over seven locations – Bedok, Bishan, Bukit Merah, Bukit Panjang, Jurong West, Queenstown and Woodlands – this bumper crop of new flats should help alleviate pent-up demand built up over construction delays experienced during the pandemic.

The upcoming launch will feature an array of different flat types, ranging from 2-room Flexi to 3-room, 4-room and 5-room unit types. Additionally, a tranche of Community Care Apartments will also be released in Bedok. 

The December BTO 2023 launch also will see the HDB rental flat mixed into the BTO flats.

HDB BTO Dec 2023 Chai Chee, Bedok

The Bedok BTO December 2023 launch comprises two parcels of land, one with 470 units of 3-room, 4-room and 5-room flats, and the other with 760 units of 3-room, 4-room, 5-room and Community Care Apartments. Prices for community care apartments for seniors aged 65 and above are priced at $80,000 - $95,000.

Prices for the usual 3- to 5-room flats range from $298,000 to $725,000.

Waiting time is estimated to be 39 to 43 months which is equivalent to 3 years 3 months or 3 years 7 months - which brings key collection to mid to late 2027.

The nearest MRT is Bedok North MRT station, which lies to the northwest, over the Pan-Island Expressway. Another option – located in the southeast – is Bedok MRT Station (not shown) and Bedok Bus Interchange; the unofficial town hub will probably end up being the preferred choice of public transport. 

There are also smaller neighbourhood centres located within the vicinity for added convenience.

HDB BTO Dec 2023 Sin Ming, Bishan

The Bishan BTO will see 730 new units of 3-room and 4-room flats added to Sin Ming Road, off Marymount Road. This location is near to three MRT stations – Upper Thomson, Marymount, and the Bishan interchange – although none of them offers doorstep access. Prices range from $374,000 to $665,000.

Waiting time is 32 months, which translates to 2 years 8 months - meaning key collection will be somewhere in late 2026.

What’s interesting is the high number of private developments in the vicinity, which may grant a halo effect in terms of valuations, but only time will tell. 

Perhaps the main draw here is the lively Bishan transport which features shopping, sporting and leisure options via Junction 8 shopping mall and the nearby sports and swimming complex.

HDB BTO Dec 2023 Alexandra, Bukit Merah

A rectangular plot sandwiched between the Alexandra Canal and Alexandra Road has been earmarked for a new BTO project that would see the addition of 900 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-room and 4-room flats.

Waiting time is 59 months, which is equivalent to 4 years 11 months - making the completion date approx. 2028. Prices range from $218,000 to $723,000.

Thanks to its superb location, accessibility, and proximity to MRT stations, the Bukit Merah BTO will likely be categorised as a Prime Location Housing (PLH) flat.  

With Delta Sports Complex just across the road, fitness freaks will find easy options for sports and swimming. There are also many schools in the area for families with school-going children, including ASPN (Tanglin School), Alexandra Primary School, Bukit Merah Secondary School, Crescent Girls’ School, Gan Eng Seng School, and Gan Eng Seng Primary School. 

The nearest MRT station is Redhill MRT station, and the neighbourhood centre nearby should prove a convenient source of amenities and services. Another advantage of this location is its proximity to the city centre, while a number of private developments nearby confer a gentrifying effect on the historic neighbourhood.

HDB BTO Dec 2023 Petir Road, Bukit Panjang

If you’ve always wanted to make the LRT part of your daily commute, this Bukit Panjang BTO project has got you covered. Waiting time is 48 months, which translates to 4 years - meaning key collection can be expected to be 2027. Prices range from $110,000 to $426,000.

Not only is it sited next to the Petir LRT station, it is also just one stop away from the main Bukit Panjang transport hub, where you’ll find plenty of amenities including two shopping malls and a sports and swimming complex. 

Nature lovers will appreciate that this BTO project sits next to Petir Park, with the 330 new units of 2-room Flexi and 4-room fiats enjoying convenient access to multiple schools in the neighbourhood – three of which are within walking distance.

HDB BTO Dec 2023 Jurong West

Over at Jurong West, a new tranche of 710 units will be added, occupying a parcel of land between the Jurong Canal and Jurong West Street 42. Available flat types include 2-room Flex, 3-room, 4-room and 5-room configurations, catering to a wide range of applicants.

Waiting time is 37 months, which is equivalent to 3 years 1 month - meaning key collection may be around end 2026 to early 2027. Prices range from $110,000 to $540,000.

While not the most conveniently located transport wise – the nearest MRT station is Lakeside, which lies several streets to the south – the location is nonetheless a lively one, with several recreational and neighbourhood amenities close by. There are also a high number of schools in the vicinity, which should serve the needs of school-going families well.

Also, there is a planned MRT station on the new Jurong Region Line, which should make for a more convenient transport option once ready.

HDB BTO Dec 2023 Dover MRT Queenstown

Like the Bukit Merah BTO, the Queenstown December 2023 BTO is a PLH project due to its prime location and proximity to the city. Waiting time is 59 months, which is equivalent to 4 years 11 months - making the completion date approx. 2028. Prices range from $430,000 to $763,000.

Apart from its prime neighbourhood status, there are two main draws to this Queenstown BTO project. One, the Dover MRT station is right at the doorstep, which offers unparalleled convenience to public transport users. 

Two, it is just a couple of stops away from Buona Vista and Holland Village MRT stations, where a good variety of dining, shopping, entertainment and recreational options may be found. Other points in its favour include the nearby schools, green spaces, and community facilities.

You can choose from 890 units of 3-room and 4-room flats for this BTO project, spanning 34 to 45 storey blocks.

HDB BTO Dec 2023 Woodlands

While two BTO projects have been listed for Woodlands, both are basically at the same location, just separated by a single street.

In any case, both projects are well situated, with easy access to the Woodlands integrated hub comprising Woodlands MRT station and bus interchange, Causeway Point mall and Woodlands Civic Centre. In the other direction is a sports and swimming complex, along with neighbourhood shopping centre Marsiling Mall.

Adding further convenience and variety are a variety of schools, community clubs, green spaces and park connectors. Also, the Causeway is close by if you fancy a jaunt into Johor Bahru.

HDB October BTO 2023

The October 2023 BTO projects will have 6,800 BTO flats available across Choa Chu Kang, Kallang/Whampoa, Queenstown, and Tengah. Three of the six projects will be in Kallang/Whampoa, with one project each in Choa Chu Kang, Queenstown, and Tengah.

Three of those projects will be offered in Kallang/Whampoa, with the one closest to Kallang MRT station will likely fall under the Prime Location Housing (PLH) model, given the project’s proximity to the station and city.  

As mentioned, the October 2023 HDB BTO launch is the biggest project in 2023, with over 6,800 units offered across six projects in Choa Chu Kang, Kallang/Whampoa, Queenstown, and Tengah. 

Three of those projects will be offered in Kallang/Whampoa, with Verendah @ Kallang will likely fall under the Prime Location Housing (PLH) model, given the project’s proximity to the Kallang MRT station and city.  

Meanwhile, Rail Green I @ CCK BTO and Rail Green II @ CCK BTO are the biggest projects, offering 1,895 flats ranging from 2-room Flexi to 3Gen units. The Choa Chua Kang BTO projects will likely be hotly contested due to the availability of different unit types and good amenities.  

In Queenstown, the Tanglin Halt Cascadia BTO is located on the former Commonwealth Drive SERS site, next to the Rail Corridor. It will likely be oversubscribed as there will be several popular amenities and schools in the vicinity. 

Lastly, there will be two BTO projects in Tengah. Located next to Tengah Park MRT, Plantation Edge I BTO and Plantation Edge II BTO comprise 1,010 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, and 5-room flats.

BTO flat application changes (Oct 2023)

There will be several changes to the BTO application process starting from the upcoming Oct2023 HDB BTO launch. 

1. Penalty for first-timer BTO applicants who reject

First-timer BTO applicants who reject an invitation to book a BTO flat will be penalised as second-timers for a year. Currently, you’ll lose your first-timer priority for a year only if you rejected your invitation twice. 

The tightening of this rule is meant to reduce the number of people who decline to pick a flat and to ensure more efficient allocation to those who need it more. 

If you look at the flat allocation for second-timers (5% for 4-room or larger flats compared to 95% for first-timer families), it’s harder for you to secure a flat as a second-timer.

2. Higher flat allocation for first-timer families

Another notable change to the BTO application process is the introduction of the new Family and Parenthood Priority Scheme (FPPS), which will replace the Parenthood Priority Scheme (PPS). 

Under the FPPS, up to 40% of the BTO flats and up to 60% of Sale of Balance Flats (SBFs) will be set aside for this subset of first-timer families, otherwise known as First-timer (Parents and Married Couples) category, or FT (PMC). This is up from the current 30% and 50% allocation, respectively. 

To be considered a FT (PMC), you’ll need to:

• Be a family with at least one Singaporean child who is 18 years and below, or a married couple aged 40 years and below; and
• New owned or sold a residential property in the past; and
• Have not booked a BTO/SBF in the past five years prior to your first application

3. Extra BTO ballot chances for first-timer parents and married couples

FT (PMC) applications will receive an additional ballot for their BTO applications. This group of buyers will be given a total of three ballot chances instead of the two currently.

4. HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter 

Starting from the Sep 2023 BTO sales exercise, all BTO applicants must apply for the HFE letter before submitting their BTO application. 

You’ll need to have the HFE letter if you’re shortlisted and plan to take an HDB loan, which will inform you of your eligibility to buy a new or resale HDB flat, the CPF grant amounts, and your HDB loan amount. You can apply for the HFE letter on HDB’s portal.

HDB BTO Sep 2023 Choa Chu Kang

The Rail Green I and Rail Green II BTO projects will be located along Woodlands Road and is the biggest project in the Sep 2023 BTO launch. It also offers all types of flats, including 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, 5-room, and 3Gen flats.

It’s also quite accessible; you can get to Senja LRT station and Phoenix LRT station on foot in about 10 minutes, while Bukit Panjang MRT station is only a 7-minute walk away. You can get to the CBD in around 30 minutes from Bukit Panjang MRT station. 

Shopping malls in the area include Junction 10, Bukit Panjang Plaza, and Hillion Mall. Via Bukit Panjang MRT, you can also access other malls in the Upper Bukit Timah and Hillview residential areas, namely HillV2 and the Rail Mall. 

Speaking of Bukit Timah, nature lovers will also enjoy the Choa Chu Kang BTO’s proximity to the Rail Corridor, which runs through the BTO site. Though according to the BTO map, this is only an interim path. Besides that, there’s also the Bukit Panjang Park Connector and Pang Sua Park Connector, which run along the nearby Sungei Pang Sua.  

Families with schooling children will also be glad to know that the BTO project is close to several schools, including West View Primary School & MK @ West View, Choa Chu Kang Secondary School, Teck Whye Primary School, and Jurong Pioneer Junior College.

HDB BTO Sep 2023 Kallang Whampoa

The Oct 2023 BTO launch will see three BTO projects in the Kallang/Whampoa estate:

• Tenteram Vantage BTO
• Rajah Residences BTO
• Verandah @ Kallang BTO

Tenteram Vantage BTO is bounded by Jalan Tenteram and is located next to the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and Central Expressway (CTE). It comprises 1,040 units of 3-room and 4-room flats.

Rajah Residences BTO is located along Jalan Rajah, next to the Rajah Summit BTO in the February 2023 BTO sales exercise. It offers around 730 units of 2-room Flexi and 4-room flats. The first two BTO projects are closer to Toa Payoh and Potong Pasir, so future residents can expect to access the many amenities in both areas.

Verandah @ Kallang BTO is located along Geylang Road and has 1,140 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-room, and 4-room flats. It’s also the most centrally located among the Kallang/Whampoa project and will likely be a PLH project. 

Jalan Tenteram Vantage BTO

Because of its location, the Jalan Tenteram Vantage BTO could be the least popular Kallang/Whampoa BTO project.

It isn’t very accessible as there isn’t an MRT station within proximity. The closest MRT station is Boon Keng MRT, which is 1.4km or around 18 mins on foot.

Future residents may also need to bear with sound pollution as the BTO is located at the intersection of the CTE and PIE. 

But unlike previous BTO launches in Kallang/Whampoa, the Jalan Tenteram BTO is located near schools, including St. Andrew’s Junior School, St. Andrew’s Secondary School, and Bendemeer Secondary School.

Jalan Rajah Residences BTO

Rajah Residences BTO in Kallang/Whampoa is located along Jalan Rajah. Compared to the Jalan Tenteram BTO, the Jalan Rajah BTO is more accessible. Toa Payoh Town isn’t that far and is within walking distance.

From there, you can enjoy Toa Payoh’s various amenities and eateries. Toa Payoh MRT is about 1.1km (or 15 mins away by foot). There’s also the Toa Payoh Bus Interchange which provides convenient access around Toa Payoh and out of town. 

Sports enthusiasts will also be glad that SAFRA Toa Payoh, Toa Payoh Swimming Complex, and Toa Payoh Stadium are nearby.

Besides that, there are also a few nearby shopping malls in the area, including Balestier Plaza and Shaw Plaza.

As with other previous Kallang/Whampoa BTO projects, there aren’t many schools in the vicinity. The only two schools nearby are Bendemeer Secondary School and Hong Wen School.

Geylang Road, Verandah @ Kallang BTO

Verandah @ Kallang BTO is located along Geylang Road, next to the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE). 

It’s the most centrally located among the Kallang/Whampoa project and is just a 6-minute walk to the Kallang MRT station. Because of its locational attributes, this is likely to be a PLH project. 

It’s also a 9-minute walk from the Singapore Sports Hub and other sporting facilities in the area, including the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Kallang Squash & Tennis Centre, and Kallang Netball Centre. There are also other eateries in Kallang that are nearby.

However, one thing to note is that there isn’t a nearby school around. The closest schools in the area are Dunman Secondary School and Bendemeer Primary School, but they’re not nearby.

HDB BTO Sep 2023 Tanglin Halt Cascadia BTO

973 3-room and 4-room Tanglin Halt Cascadia BTO flats will be launched along Commonwealth Drive in the Tanglin Halt neighbourhood. The area is being rejuvenated as part of the Selective En Bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS) programme. 

In fact, the Queenstown Sep 2023 BTO sits on the former sites of Blocks 74 to 80, which were selected for SERS back in 2008.

The Tanglin Halt Cascadia BTO has excellent nearby amenities and accessibility; Commonwealth MRT station is within walking distance, as are other eating and lifestyle establishments in the area. Furthermore, Holland Village, Star Vista, Holland Drive Market and Food Centre, and Ghim Moh Market are nearby too.

Commuting to the CBD from Commonwealth MRT takes about 12 minutes, while one-north is also within walking distance.

There are also good schooling options in the vicinity, including reputable schools such as Anglo-Chinese School (International) and Anglo-Chinese Junior College.

Due to its prime location and accessibility to MRT stations, the Tanglin Halt Cascadia BTO will likely be another PLH site. Expect it to be oversubscribed.

HDB BTO Sep 2023 Tengah Plantation Edge I and Plantation Edge II BTO

Plantation Edge I and Plantation Edge II BTOis bounded by Plantation Close and Plantation Crescent, next to Plantation Verge BTO in the May 2023 BTO exercise. 

Around 1,010 units ranging from 2-room Flexi to 5-room flats will be available for balloting. Tengah Park MRT (opening in 2028) will be located right next to the Tengah BTO flats. 

As Tengah is undergoing heavy development, there aren’t many amenities available. Future residents will have to access the amenities in Jurong East and Bukit Batok, including Le Quest Shopping Mall, West Mall, and JEM. 

Meanwhile, there is also a good selection of nearby schools, including Jurong Primary School, Jurongville Secondary School, and Princess Elizabeth Primary School & MK @ Princess Elizabeth. Pioneer Primary School will relocate to its Tengah campus in 2025 and will be a short walk away.

Will there be Sale of Balance Flats (SBFs) in Sep 2023?

HDB SBF launches happen twice a year and usually coincide with the BTO launches in May and November, so there won’t be any HDB SBF launches in the upcoming Sep 2023 HDB BTO sales exercise. You’ll need to wait until November 2023 if you're looking to purchase a SBF unit.

Price: $165,000 - $737,000

Sitting at the junction of Bedok South Road and Bedok South Avenue 3, the upcoming Bedok BTO launch will see a total of 1,640 units offered for sale. Of the five projects, this is also the most comprehensive one, with flat types running the gamut from 2-room Flexi, to 3-room, 4-room, 5-room and 3Gen.

Besides being served by two major roads, the project also enjoys proximity to two MRT stations. There is also a neighbourhood centre nearby, as well as some schools and sporting facilities. Siglap Community Club is located down Bedok South Ave 3.

May BTO 2023 Kallang Whampoa: Farrer Park Arena

Price: $362,000 - $642,000

The Kallang/Whampoa May BTO project is located between Dorset Road and Farrer Park Road, placing it in close proximity to two MRT stations – Farrer Park, and Little India, the latter being an interchange station. Those who drive will also appreciate that it is near to the Central Expressway.

This is expected to be a popular BTO project, given its well-connected nature and proximity to the downtown core. However, the relative lack of schools nearby may present an obstacle for families with school-going children.

Only 569 units – comprising 3-room and 4-room configurations – will be available.

May BTO 2023 Serangoon North Vista

Price: $397,000 - $658,000

This is the smallest BTO project out of the five lined up for May, comprising 330 flats in 4-room and 5-room configurations.

The project will be located at the junction of Yio Chu Kang Road and Serangoon North Ave 1, with two green spaces – Serangoon North Community Park and Hwi Yoh Garden – within walking distance. Further afield, residents can find neighbourhood centres, food & shopping centres, a community club, and multiple schools.

Also nearby is the Serangoon North MRT Station, which is a new station on the Cross Island Line that is currently under construction, and slated to open by 2030.

May BTO 2023 Tengah Plantation Verge (Plantation Close)

Price: $125,000 - $575,000

The first of the two new BTO launches in Tengah will be situated at Plantation Close, bordering the Pan Island Expressway. The project will consist of 971 units ranging from 2-room Flexi to 3-room, 4-room and 5-room flats.

The area will see the opening of three new MRT stations by 2029 on the planned Jurong Region Line, with Tengah Park being the closest station, located just opposite. Other upcoming amenities include a neighbourhood centre, green spaces, community club, medical centre and the soon-to-be-redeveloped Jurong Polyclinic.

There are a fair number of schools in the vicinity, which should prove attractive for young families.

May BTO 2023 Park Meadow - Tengah Park Avenue

Price: $127,000 - $607,000

The other BTO project for Tengah will be located at Tengah Park Avenue, where a total of 1,985 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room and 5-room units will be offered.

Like its sister project, the Tengah Park Avenue BTO will also be served by the Jurong Region Line, with the Tengah MRT Station being the closest. Further enhancing connectivity is the proposed bus interchange which will sit just across the road.

There are several amenities planned for the area, ranging from schools and neighbourhood centres to community greens, sports and recreation facilities, and civic and community institutions.

The HDB BTO Feb 2023 launch will see 4,410 flats across Jurong West, Kallang/Whampoa, Queenstown, and Tengah, with two of them likely being PLH projects. Here's an overview of the launch.

HDB BTO Feb 23 Application Rate

HDB updates the BTO application rate four times a day.

As at 7 March, the final HDB BTO Feb 2023 application rate for Kallang Whampoa is the highest at 4.16 applicants per unit, followed by Dover MRT's Ulu Pandan Glades at 3.31 applicants per unit.

• Brickland Weave: 4,655 applications for 1,641 units (2.84 applicants per unit)
• Kallang Whampoa - Both: 7,413 applications for 1,784 units (4.16 applicants per unit)
• Jurong West Crystal: 740 applications for 271 units (2.73 applicants per unit)
• Ulu Pandan Glade, Dover: 2,426 applications for 732 units (3.31 applicants per unit)

Total applications received: 15,234

HDB BTO February 2023 Prices

Price-wise, the Tengah BTO project is the most affordable. That said, the area isn’t loaded with amenities yet and is undergoing heavy development, so future residents will have to bear minor inconveniences and construction noises for a few years.

Speaking of Tengah, it’s also the only BTO project that offers 5-room flats. So if you’re eyeing a 5-room flat, this is the project to look at. Otherwise, you may want to wait until the BTO May 2023 launch, as there will be 5-room flats available in Serangoon and Bedok.

Now let’s take a look at each of the individual BTO projects.

The Jurong West Crystal has 2 residential blocks, 18 storeys high each, is located close to Pioneer MRT station and features 271 units of 3-room and 4-room flats. In fact, it takes only seven minutes on foot to reach the station.



It is close to the elevated MRT track of the East-West Line, so expect some noise, especially if your units are closer to the track.

That said, the area is quite convenient because the amenities are within walking distance. Sports and outdoor enthusiasts will be glad that Yunnan Gardens, Yunnan Park, and Jurong West Sport Centre are less than a 5-minute walk. What’s more, the Jurong West Park Connector is also nearby.

There are two BTO projects in Kallang/Whampoa in February 2023 - Rajah Summit, and Farrer Park Fields.

The first is located along Jalan Rajah and the second is bounded by Farrer Park Road, Hampshire Road, and Race Course Road.

The Jalan Rajah BTO is made up of 2 reisdential blocks, 28 and 40 storeys high, is located along Jalan Rajah, will be the tallest building in the vicinity, and overlooks the Kallang River. It consists of 510 units of 3-room and 4-room flats.



Most notably, the project is nearby several sporting facilities, including Toa Payoh Sports Hall, Toa Payoh Stadium, and Toa Payoh Swimming Complex. Toa Payoh MRT is about 15 minutes on foot; therefore, it’s unlikely that this will be a PLH project.

There aren’t many schooling options too, with Bendeemer Secondary School and Hong Wen School being the nearest schools.

On the other hand, the Farrer Park BTO is made up of 7 residential blocks, 24 storeys high, is located in a more central location; it’s smack between Little India MRT and Farrer Park MRT, and it takes less than five minutes to get to either station by foot. As mentioned above, this will likely be a PLH project.

This is also a bigger project with 1,274 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-room, and 4-room units offered.



Nearby amenities include City Square Mall, Mustafa Centra, and Tekka Centre. Moreover, there are plenty of shophouses, restaurants, and cafes in the area, so there’s no shortage of food and retail options.

However, like the Jalan Rajah BTO site, the lack of schooling options might deter families with schooling children.

Queenstown BTO site is made of 2 residential blocks, 34 to 43 storeys high, is located along Ghim Moh Link and Commonwealth Avenue West, on Dover Forest East. It also overlooks the Ulu Pandan Canal. If the area sounds a little familiar to you, it’s because it’s located east of Ulu Pandan Banks, one of the Queenstown BTO projects in Nov 2022.

This time around, there will have 732 units of 3-room and 4-room flats up for grabs.



The BTO site is also about 10 minutes by foot to Dover MRT. Given its locational attributes, it’s likely that this will be a PLH project too.

Nearest Schools:

This BTO project is also ideal for families with schooling children as it’s near several schools including Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Anglo-Chinese Junior College, Fairfield Methodist School (Secondary), Fairfield Methodist School (Primary).

On top of that, tertiary institutions such as Singapore Polytechnic, School of Science and Technology, and ESSEC Business School are also nearby.

Aside from that, the BTO site is also near amenities like Star Vista, Holland Village, Ghim Moh Market, Rochester Mall, and Ulu Pandan Park Connector.

Last but not least, we’ll see yet another BTO project in Tengah in the February 2023 BTO launch.

Called Brickland Weave, this Tengah BTO features 12 residential blocks, 11 to 17 storeys high, with 1,641 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, and 5-room flats.



Only this project has 5-Room Flats

As mentioned, this is the only February 2023 BTO project that will be offering 5-room flats.

Located along the future roads of Tengah Boulevard, Brickland Crescent, and Brickland Rise, there aren’t many amenities nearby as the area is currently developing.

The upcoming Choa Chu Kang West MRT on the Jurong Region Line isn’t nearby either, taking roughly 20 minutes if you’re travelling by foot.

That said, more amenities will be available as they are built up. Also, this will likely be priced attractively, which is good for budget-conscious people.

Upcoming HDB BTO May 2023

If the Feb 2023 HDB BTO project doesn’t tickles your fancy, you might want to wait for the May 2023 HDB BTO launch.
HDB BTO 2023: May
HDB will offer about 3,800 to 4,800 BTO units across these estates:

Bedok (2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, 5-room, 3Gen flats)
Kallang/Whampoa (3-room and 4-room)
Queenstown (3-room and 4-room)
Serangoon (4-room and 5-room)
Tengah (2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, and 5-room)

On top of that, it’s likely that Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) will be offered as well. So if you don’t want to wait for years for your BTO flat to complete, you may want to consider applying for an SBF flat in May.

PM Lee on 8 Feb 23: Singaporeans won't have to worry about having an affordable home



Singaporeans, now or in generations to come, will not have to worry about having an affordable home to call their own, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.



Giving this assurance in a Facebook post on Tuesday, PM Lee said the Government is working hard to ramp up the supply of flats, cool the resale market and keep Housing Board flats affordable and accessible to a wide range of Singaporeans.





His post comes after Parliament debated two motions on the affordability and accessibility of HDB flats for 12 hours over two days. One was filed by National Development Minister Desmond Lee, and the other by Progress Singapore Party Non-Constituency MP Leong Mun Wai.
