Ion Orchard celebrates its 10th anniversary this year!

In celebration of this occasion, Ion Orchard and the upcoming November edition of the Affordable Art Fair have created a special exhibition entilted 'Reunited 2019', which will showcase the works of eight young (under 35 years old) artists from the fair's Young Talent Programme.

Located at Ion Art gallery from now till 27 January 2019, here're the artists who have participated in the exhibition.

Alecia Neo - she has previously showcased her art pieces at the Singapore Art Museum 2014 (Sensorium 360), and was even awarded 'Young Artists Award 2016' by the National Arts Council (NAC).

Lavender Chang- she has exhibited in emerging artists group show in Mizuma Gallery, the Singapore Art Museum 2014 (Sensorium 360), Icon de Martell Cordon Bleu 2014 at the National Museum of Singapore, and group exhibition with Sundaram Tagore Gallery in New York (2014).

Vellachi Ganesan - she as an awardee in 2012 for the Winners’ Solo Exhibition 2012/13. She has also created a light installation 'Dreamscapes' in 2018, as part of 'Illuminate at the Gateway Mall' in Salt Lake City.

Hilmi Johandi - he is a 2013 awardee at the Winners’ Solo Exhibition 2013/14. Hilmi was also named as emerging artist to look out for by ‘Salary-man collector’ Daisuke Miyatsu, National Arts Council Grant Recipient for Dena Foundation Artist Residency Programme at the Centre des Récollects, Paris (2015). Other achievements include being the finalist of President’s Young Talents award (2018), and the award recipient of the Young Artist Award 2018.

Noor Iskandar - she is a 2013 awardee at the Winner’s Solo Exhibition 2013/2014. She has also received the Kwek Leng Joo Prize for Excellency, Photography (2014) and Goh Chok Tong Youth Promise Award (2016).

Ezekiel Wong Kelwin - he is a 2014 awardee at the Winners’ Solo Exhibition 2014/2015. He participated in a group show with Milenko Prvacki at iPreciation, emerging artists group show at Mizuma Gallery, and even a solo exhibition at the Esplanade (2017).

Khin Thethtar Latt - he is a 2014 awardee at the Winners’ Solo Exhibition 2014/2015. Khin exhibited at SPOT ART in Singapore (2014), the Nippon International Performance Art Festival 2013 in Tokyo, the Myanmar-India Youth Art Exchange in India (2012), The Festival of Independents at Charlie Dutton Gallery, London - a performance art festival and the Wathann Film Festival, Yangon.

Zhang Fuming - he is a 2014 awardee at the Winners’ Solo Exhibition 2014/2015. He held a solo exhibition with AC43 Gallery (2016).
