Located in the new South Beach complex, Lego Hub Singapore has breathtaking views of the city – if you can tear yourself away from the Insta-ready Lego Singapore icons and Lego bin.
Ask your child which toy company he would like to work for, and he might shout: "Lego!"
And why not? The colourful bricks beloved by millions of kids around the world seem to come from a place as magical as Santa’s workshop.
Young Parents had the privilege of visiting the spanking new Lego Hub Singapore on its official opening on Dec 4, and if we could sum it in one word, it would be F-U-N. Here are the photos to prove it.
Lego Hub Singapore occupies two floors of South Beach Tower and will eventually add one floor more next year.

This world map made of Lego bricks is incredibly intricate. If you’re lucky enough to visit the Hub, look closely and you will see flags that represent Lego offices around the world.
What a lovely staff cafeteria! We like the ornate floor tiles that add a local touch.
The staff here do not have permanent desks – they practise hot desking – so they store their belongings in lockers that they can customise. The Hub plans to use only renewable energy by 2020 and use only sustainable raw materials by 2030.

There are about 220 staff working in the Hub now, mainly in departments such as management, sales, marketing, supply chain planning, as well as support roles like HR and finance. The Lego designers work in its headquarters in Denmark. Eventually, the Hub will house around 400 staff.
Letters from children around the world are reproduced on some of the cupboards. Aww...
