Mercedes-Benz Living @ Fraser - Modern luxury inspired by the high-end car brand in a hotel

If you like cars, especially those by German luxury brand Mercedes-Benz, you'll really appreciate the elegant interiors of the suites at Mercedes-Benz Living  @ Fraser

Located within the Capri by Fraser hotel at Changi City, the designer living concept is the result of a collaboration between Frasers Hospitality and Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz Living @ Fraser first debuted in London end of last year, and now Singapore is the second city in the world to have it!

There are two types of suites — Executive Terrace and Premier Terrace — each with its own private terrace and custom-made furniture with bespoke details. Of course, you can expect the same quality, attention to detail and thoughtful service here, as with the premium automobile brand.

I experienced the Premier Terrace Suite, which features the "Black Magic Wall" that integrates a smart TV and a bench upholstered in smooth Nappa leather.

This striking feature wall, made of high-gloss fibreglass, seamlessly leads in from the kitchenette near the entrance.

It definitely gives the space an edgy, somewhat futuristic look, with its sweeping curves and stark lines. Those contrasting shiny pendant lamps enhance that, too.

Another impressive design feature is the Swarovski chandelier, composed of 1,233 Austrian crystals, that twinkled non-stop day and night! (Did you know that Swarovski crystals are also found in the actual headlights of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupe?)

One of my favourite features of the suite is the Burmester surround sound system, stylishly housed in a freestanding console here. A treat for audiophiles!

This high-end sound system, as well as all the materials chosen for the suites are found in the Mercedes-Benz cars.

An interesting detail is the adjustable bedside lamps, inspired by car headlights.

The artwork around the suite and the whole floor of the hotel that Mercedes-Benz Living @ Fraser occupies is also specially commissioned from Germany.

The suite's colour palette, with timeless black, elegant silver and vivid blues, can be seen as more masculine. I liked that it creates a restful atmosphere.

Service is also a key part of the whole experience.

You can enjoy a four-course dinner, prepared in front of you by the resident chef, in the comfort of the suite or al fresco on the terrace.

As for fun things to do, try out the Mercedes-Benz trek bikes and the AMG simulator.
