Located in the Gotham-esque building of Parkview Square, the office interiors of JCO Consulting takes design inspiration from its ornate Art Deco premises but gives it a modern twist.
Priscilla Khiu, founder of interior design firm Haus Atelier, was commissioned to design an open plan office for the insurance company, a concept in line with the business’ value of transparency.
The architecturally-trained designer planned the space such that the meeting and discussion rooms line the inner length of the office, prioritising room for movement and interaction in the centre.
By alloting more room outside of the cubicles, users are encouraged to occupy the open work space, indirectly fostering a more collaborative environment.
Natural materials like leather seats and wood tones of the flooring and screen give the office a warm and comfortable ambience.
Discussion rooms enjoy ample natural light streaming in from windows, which also provide views to the adjacent DUO office tower and residences.
Behind the screen sits a commodious space with a seating capacity of 200, which can flexibly serve as a seminar hall, work space or even a function room for company events.
