Back for the 20th year, Singapore Writer’s Festival features an array of lectures, performances, film screenings, poetry readings, workshops, and masterclasses for anyone with a literary mind. One that stood out to us was the “Make a fun Family Portrait” workshop that is a fun family activity, suited for ages 4 and above. Israeli mixed-media artist Hanoch Piven, will be there to assist you with the portrait.

Bizarre and disturbing, BODY/ANOMALIES promises a surreal experience this Halloween at ARTBLOVK Gallery, presented by young Singaporean artists Olive and Celia. Heavily influenced by a 1920s Japanese art style, the exhibition also presents, in a twisted fashion, liberation and empowerment of the female form.

In line with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Singapore, The DesignSingapore Council is celebrating with the RISING50 Design Bazaar. The three-day extravaganza includes a showcase of over 20 brands from Singapore and various parts of Indonesia. Specially curated brands from Indonesia feature traditional designs with a modern touch that range from contemporary batik wear and modern home ware to eclectic accessories. And to top it all of – food! There'll be a number of stalls selling household Indonesian F&B names like the infamous Teh Botol.
